Winter Break

We hope you had a peaceful Christmas, and this finds you enjoying the extended holiday with your awesome kiddos. Now that there is snow to play in, hopefully they can get outside and enjoy it!

Of course, we reminded students to keep up their regular reading routine of 20 or more minutes per day.  December reading calendars will be due when students return next week. Daily math fact practice is beneficial, too!  Our district winter benchmark assessments will take place in a few short weeks. Iowa Assessments results are in, and will be shared with you after break.  We are so proud of the skill and best effort students put into these assessments. Thank you for encouraging kiddos to keep those skills sharp over break, while enjoying some well-deserved time off, too!

Last, but not least...thank you for the thoughtful Christmas gifts. Your kindness is so very appreciated.  It is our hope that all students and families have a happy, healthy new year. May 2016 be your best year yet!
