Communicating Student Progress: In an effort to share on-going information about your child's progress, tests will be sent home with a sign and return stamp. Please look these tests over with your child, sign the front page, and return the tests to school. Students will be accountable for taking these tests home and returning them to school with your signature.

Homework:  On-going daily homework includes 20-30 minutes of reading, practicing spelling words, and math facts. Students will sometimes have additional assignments to complete. At the end of each school day, students pack their mail in Take Home folders and are reminded to share them with you. Please check in with your child each evening to see if there are any notes or homework to complete. Thank you for partnering with us to help build responsibility with these expectations.

Please Note: Even though we don't have snow, children still need boots for recess, as the grassy areas will continue to be muddy until the ground freezes. In an effort to keep our classroom clean, boots worn outside may not be worn in the classroom. Students need a pair of shoes to be worn inside.
