Week of September 19: Homecoming Week!

It's been an exciting week in Bobcat country as students have shown their school spirit throughout the week with our various dress-up days. So much fun!

On Monday, Mrs. Bonewitz and I had substitute teachers in the classroom while we met with our individual students to set goals and talk about expectations for the school year. Those goal sheets will be sent home Thursday to be shared with you. Be sure to note the color key in the top right hand corner of the sheet when reading your child's data and goals. Please sign and return the sheets so we know you have looked them over and talked about them with your child. We will then stamp the sheets and return them to you.

On Friday morning, students will participate in the Memory Walk around Keystone with our Care Center resident friends. This great community outreach activity was first started by beloved Keystone Elementary teacher Mr. Tim Casey, and continues today! Students are encouraged to bring donations for our loose change drive to support Alzheimer's research. Money raised will be collectively presented right before the walk.

On Friday afternoon, students will attend the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally at the high school. If you plan to pick up your child at the pep rally, please send a note to school. Any student without a note will be riding the bus back to school, then follow their regular after school routine home. Go Bobcats!

Best wishes to all families participating in the Bobcat Dash on Saturday. Thank you for supporting our awesome PTO. It is sure to be a great time for good family fun with friends!
