Accelerated Reader Student Goals:  

•  earn 3-4 points per week
•  choose engaging books in personal reading level range
•  on-task and engaged reading behavior to build stamina

Social Studies & Science

• Pioneer living learning in class and field trip to Ushers Ferry Historic Village in Cedar Rapids on April 13
• cost per student is $3.50 
• send to school with your child in a marked envelope by Mon., April 11
• PTO funded the remaining $7.00 cost per child for the field trip
• students wear layered clothing, a jacket, and comfortable walking shoes
• bring own sack lunch and drink
• bring a small amount of money for gift shop, if desired

• Agriculture learning in class and attend Ag Day in Vinton on April 27
• students wear layered clothing/dress for the weather and outdoor activities
• comfortable walking shoes 
• lunch provided on site by sponsors
• no cost

VIP Breakfast Buddies

Students are encouraged to invite a special guest to join them for breakfast at Keystone Elementary on Friday, April 29 from 7:30-8:00  AM. Hope to see you there!
