Math: learning strategies and strengthening skills in addition and subtraction within 1000
Word Work: unusual past tense verbs
Writing: revising, editing, and publishing personal narratives
Please have your child turn in the signed October reading calendar with reading minutes totaled. The November reading calendar will be sent home tomorrow. Thank you for encouraging both oral and silent reading at home to strengthen literacy skills. Books are being selected and ordered for the third grade book cart. Students are off to a good start with Accelerated Reader quizzes and earning points for independent reading.
